How do I import photos?

Click on the “import” button, located at the lower left corner of the Photopolish window. A dialog will appear, allowing you to choose from the photos stored on your device.

You may also drag and drop photos from Finder or Windows Explorer, on the left side column.

Photos’s saved as either jpeg or png are supported.

What is a Watermark Wallet?

Your Watermark Wallet stores the signature and watermark images you’ll be applying to photos. The images you import into your Watermark Wallet, will be optimized and saved automatically, ready for use whenever you start Photopolish.

You can always find your Watermark Wallet folder in your Pictures folder:

Mac:
$HOME/Pictures/My Watermark Wallet

Window:
%userprofile%\Pictures\My Watermark Wallet

WalletPlease note that if you make any manual changes to the watermarks in your wallet folder, you will need to restart Photopolish to see the changes take effect.

How do I import a watermark into my Watermark Wallet?

Click on the large “+” button, located towards the lower right of the Photopolish window. A dialog will appear, allowing you to choose from watermark images stored on your device. Shift click to select multiple photos at one time.

You may also drag and drop watermark images from Finder or Windows Explorer, on to the left side column.

Only png format is supported for watermarks.

How do I place a watermark on my photo?

To add or change the watermark applied to a photo, click on your chosen watermark from your wallet on the right side of the screen.

If the photo already has a watermark applied, the current watermark will be replaced with the newly chosen watermark, maintaining the current placement and orientation.

How do I change the place and size of my watermark?

Once you’ve applied a watermark to a photo, click on the watermark to enter edit mode.

If the edit cage is visible, you’re in edit mode, and can drag the watermark to your desired location on the photo.
The edit cage also has two control handles on the bottom left and upper right corners.

You may resize your watermark using the size handle in the upper right corner by clicking and dragging the handle. Your watermark will grow or shrink to match.

To rotate your watermark, use the turn handle in the lower right corner by clicking and dragging the handle. The watermark will rotate to match.

To exit edit mode, and hide the edit cage, click anywhere outside of the watermark.

Pressing the Enter key on the keyboard also toggles edit mode on and off.

What is the Bulk Watermarking feature?

Bulk Watermarking lets you quickly apply a watermark to a large number of photos with a single click of a button.

How do I use the Bulk Watermarking feature?

Apply a watermark to the very first photo in your imported photos. This will act as a template for your other photos. After you’re happy with the location and placement of the watermark, click on the large orange “Bulk Watermark Photos” button. All photos without a watermark will now have a watermark applied, that matches the first photo in the list.

Don’t worry, any other watermarks you’ve already applied watermarks to will not be changed.

 
How do I move my signature on my photos in the Bulk Watermarking option?

After you’ve run a Bulk Watermark operation, you may still continue to edit and change placement of the watermarks as necessary.

How do I export my photo? / How do I bulk export my bulk watermarked photos?

Click on the “Export” button, located at the lower right corner of the Photopolish window. A dialog will appear, allowing you to choose a folder on your device to save photos to. All photos with a watermark applied will be exported.

Photopolish will add a timestamp to the exported photos, so that you do not accidently overwrite existing photos.

How do I delete photos from the app?

Move the mouse cursor over the thumbnail of the photo you wish to remove. A small “X” will show in the upper left corner. Click the “X” to remove the photo, and any watermark applied to it.

You may also use the Edit menu to remove all photos.

How do I delete signatures from my Signature Wallet?

Move the mouse cursor over the watermark you wish to remove. A small “X” will show in the upper left corner. Click the “X” to remove the watermark from your wallet.
